Meet the Peace Work Institute planning team
Adi DAVIES
Peace Work Institute team memberAdi is one of the graduates of the Roots for Reconciliation Peace Work Institute who keeps us empowered to carry on our work. He has been a great support already when was a participant, yet even more after graduating the course. We have a feeling that he has his heart always open for the Roots, and whenever possible joins the project team to deliver high quality service.
Beate TURCK
Peace Work Institute team memberBeate Turck from Germany has served many years as a policy volunteer for YMCA Europe, starting as an Assessor in the Executive Committee then as the Recording Secretary and now as the Treasurer. She offered her very much appreciated helping hand to the Roots staff when the Peace Work Institute session in Berlin was in process of planning. Thus she became one of the facilitators of the second cohort of the Peace Work Institute.
Rachel DYNE
Peace Work Institute team memberRachel Dyne, England – got involved as Peace Work Institute participant from YMCA England and made immediate impact with her experience, attitude and motivation. Integral part of the team, leading various sessions and workshops during the first Peace Work Institute cohort.
Dorina LLUKA DAVIES
Peace Work Institute team memberDorina Lluka Davies, Kosovo – joined the team at the same time as Rachel in Istanbul at Peace Work Institute and quickly earned her place in team as knowledgeable and committed member. She was team member of the Peace Work Institute - first cohort (2012 - 2015), bringing rich YMCA management experience, as well as profound knowledge of Balkan region.
Ivana ILIC
Peace Work Institute team memberIvana Ilic, Serbia - her first exposure to Roots for Reconciliation project was during Istanbul Peace Work Institute as a representative of then very young YMCA Serbia. Since then, Ivana has evolved into very committed and valuable participant of the project and also assumed the leadership position at YMCA Serbia.

Peace Work Institute team memberChristina Kyriakou, Cyprus - She quickly distinguished herself as passionate, outspoken and sociable individual during Yerevan Peace Work Institute. With years of Roots for Reconciliation experience now, she keeps bringing the same energy and motivation to all events she attended during the first cohort of Peace Work Institute.
